Farther’s Day 2023

In September 2023, Danish Cultural Institute participated in the 10th-anniversary celebration of Latvian Father’s Day, “Teva Diena.”

We invited the Belarusian artist Liubov Ancheva to conduct a creative workshop for children and parents under the title “Papīra māja” (paper houses). Participants had the opportunity to cut and construct their dream houses using recycled paper. The goal of this activity was bring focus on inclusion, green transition, and sustainability, allowing the whole family to create a vision of the ideal green and sustainable city. The artworks were exhibited togehter as a part of the “Creative City” exhibition at the National Library in Riga.
