Jacob Remin and Sergey Filatov sound art in St. Petersburg
Experimental electronic musicians Jacob Remin and Sergey Filatov play in St. Petersburg and exhibits in Moscow
On April 21st Kuryokhin Centre for modern art invited listeners to hear Jacob Remin and Sergey Filatov play in St. Petersburg. The performance, supported by the Danish Cultural Institute, was a continuation of the collaborative work of the two sound artists, one from Copenhagen the other from Moscow. Both are committed to the technological trends of modern media and sound art.
Besides the performance in St. Petersburg, on april 26th an exhibition opens at Electromuseum in Moscow, presenting sound art pieces by Remin and Filatov. Find more info on the facebook pages of Electromuseum, Jacob Remin and Sergey Filatov.
The cooperation between the two artists began in autumn 2017 at the Waterfront exhibition organised at “Port Sevcable” business & cultural cluster as part of the project “Strengthening Nordic-Russian network in ecological advocacy” implemented by the Danish Cultural Institute & Street Art Exploration Institute with support of The Nordic Council of Ministers and The Nordic Council.
