Sisters Sensing (the World) in Georgia

After Sisters Hope’s performative walks in China in 2024 and Brazil in 2025, the performance group continued the Sisters Sensing (the World) project in Georgia in 2026.

The purpose of the project is to explore how we can create connections across national borders and strengthen the idea of a more sensuous society, a so-called Sensuous Society, within Georgia’s breathtaking landscapes.

Sisters Sensing (the World) is a long-term collaborative project in which Sisters Hope travels to several of the countries that DCI is working in. Their residencies include a series of 12-hour performative walks, developed in collaboration with local partners. Each hour features a stop where an artistic ritual is performed, drawing on and responding to the specific context of the location.
