Celebrating 60 Years of Danish Film Music – Reception at Cinemateket

Official opening of 60 Years of Danish Film Music at Cinemateket

Come and enjoy beautiful musical compositions and a glass of wine, when BFM (the Danish association of film and media composers) invites you to the official opening of the installation 60 Years of Danish Film Music, February 27th at Cinemateket.

The installation has been created in a collaboration between Jesper Siberg and founder of the newly established Dansk Filmmusik-Arkiv (Archive for Danish Film Music) Jesper Hansen. It presents the best of the masterful Danish Film Music of the last 60 years, from Per Nørgaard‘s score for Gabriel Axel‘s Oscar-winning Babette’s Feast, to Joachim Holbek‘s thrilling strokes for Ole Bornedal‘s Nightwatch, Søren Hyldgaard‘s melodic tunes for Susanne Bier‘s The One and Only, and many more!

You can experience 60 Years of Danish Film Music at Cinemateket until April 1st.
