Anderseniana exhibition in St. Petersburg
The Angleterre Hotel in St. Petersburg exhibits Anderseniana
From December 14th 2018 until January 31st 2019, the Angleterre Hotel and Art Enface Laboratory of Modern Art invite to a fascinating Anderseniana exhibition dedicated to the fairy tales of the world-famous Danish writer Hans Christian Andersen.
At the display there will be illustrations, paintings, graphics, art objects, collages and more. About 20 artists take part in the exhibition, among them illustrator of H. C. Andersen’s fairy tales Anton Lomaev, painters Anna Krasnaya, Lada Laval, Olga Rostrosta, Andrey Pomulev, art groups DopingPong and Argento, graphic artists Oleg Ildyukov, Evgeny Popov, Elena Ivanova, and Daniil Vyatkin, photographer Anna Aseeva, airbrush graphic artist Kseniya Eliseeva. The exhibition will also present the works of the Traugots brothers, well-known Petersburg’s illustrators, from the private collection.
