Street Hub in Kenya
In 2025, the foundations were laid in Nairobi’s Lang’ata district for a new initiative in which GAME, together with local partners and with support from Danish Cultural Institute, is creating a Street Hub as a safe and inclusive cultural space for the city’s young people. The initiative is based on the idea that sport, culture, and community can come together in a space where young people can participate on their own terms. The project has been developed through a participatory process, with young people’s voices and local experiences helping to shape the vision of a public space that is open, vibrant, and inclusive.
The Street Hub will serve as a youth-led safe space where sport and culture act as drivers of community, wellbeing, and everyday development.
