Cirkeline on tour

Unable to bring the original production to China during the pandemic, our China department developed a local adaptation of the musical theatre production “Cirkeline, Coco og det vilde næsehorn”, created by musician Moussa Diallo and based on Jannik Hastrup’s animated film. The production proved highly successful, attracting full audiences.

In the summer of 2025, we repeated the experiment – this time with the original Danish cast on an extended tour of southern and eastern China. The performances were complemented by a series of workshops for families with children.
