Rasmus Heisterberg’s ‘In The Blood’ in International Competition at Warsaw Film Festival

All four screenings of the film at Warsaw Film Festival will be introduced by the movie’s leading actor Christoffer Bech and followed by talks with the festival’s audience.

Christoffer Bech’s visit in Warsaw has been made possible by the support from Danish Cultural Institute in Poland.

Rasmus Heisterberg’s I Blodet/In the Blood (2016), featuring four medical students from Copenhagen who finally have to become adults, is said to be a generation portrait of a restless youth and a critique of contemporary upper-class amorality.

The movie will together with 14 other foreign films compete in ithe nternational competition during this year’s WFF.

Rasmus Heisterberg is respected and award-winning screenwriter, a regular screenwriter partner of Director Nikolaj Arcel, collaborating on films that include The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2009), A Royal Affair (2012) and The Absent One (2014). I blodet/In the Blood is his director debut.
