Urban Studios 2025

In Mykolaiv, the Urban Studios project has evolved from a series of workshops into a youth-led platform for urban development. In early 2025, 33 young leaders took part in practice-oriented programmes focusing on urban development and citizen participation.

In autumn 2025, 12 alumni teams from Urban Studios joined a national urban development project in Ukraine. The teams worked on concrete local development initiatives, and by connecting local engagement with national expertise, the project strengthens young people’s ability to contribute actively to the reconstruction of Mykolaiv and to influence decision-making processes.

In addition, a project to create three murals in Mykolaiv was approved by the municipality.
