Danish children’s books in Georgia and Moldova

In 2025, Danish Cultural Institute helped bring Danish children’s literature to readers in Georgia and Moldova through the translation and publication of selected works. In Georgia, two Danish children’s books were published in Georgian: “Frøken Ignora, der bor i et vandtårn” and “Du skal huske at fodre din søhest”. In Moldova, Danish Cultural Institute supported the publication of “Mimbo Jimbo” – the first joint children’s book publication by a Moldovan and a Danish publishing house.
