Sisters Sensing (the World) in São Paulo

The performance group Sisters Hope continued the project Sisters Sensing (the World) in São Paulo in 2025. Here the project unfolded as a 12-hour performative walk through the city’s contrasting spaces, from affluent neighbourhoods to informal settlements and industrial areas. Along the way, an artistic ritual rooted in the local context was performed every hour, documented, and shared with a global audience. The project explored how sensing, movement, and art can open new perspectives on sustainability and strengthen connections between people across cultural and social divides.
