Meet the speakers

 Moderator


Moussa Mchangama is a strategic advisor, cultural communicator, and co-founder of the consultancy In futurum. He works within the arts and cultural sectors across the Nordic countries on creating more equitable, diverse and caring structures, organizations and possibilities. Mchangama is also a noted debater, author of the book “Tekster om hjem”, board member at HAUT and the Association for I Am Queen Mary as well as a member of the Museum Council, the National Gallery of Denmark.

 Reading


Amina Elmi is a poet and author. She recently received the European Poet of Freedom Award 2026. Elmi graduated from Forfatterskolen in 2023. In August 2023, Amina Elmi made her literary debut with BARBAR [Tavshedens objekt ], a poetry collection exploring brutality, grief, anger, despair, love, and longing. In November 2023, Amina Elmi received the Bogforum Debut Award 2023 for BARBAR. In January 2024, the poetry collection was nominated for Politiken’s Literature Prize 2023. On 4 April 2024, she was awarded the Spirekraft Prize 2024.

Camilla Mordhorst is the CEO of Danish Cultural Institute (DCI). The institute’s focus is to build strong  international relations through the exchange of art and culture. Today the institute is present in 18 countries – divided into 4 regions – Asia, the Baltic Sea Region, EU’s Eastern Neighbourhood Countries, and East Africa. Besides her position at DCI, Camilla Mordhorst is a board member of  the Royal Danish Geographical Society, Cph Stage, and Trapholt.

Charlotte Flindt Pedersen is the Director of the Danish Foreign Policy Society. She is an experienced expert on the Balkans, Eastern Europe, and the post-Soviet region. Before joining the Danish Foreign Policy Society, she served as Deputy Director and Head of the International Department at the Danish Institute for Human Rights.

Charlotte Flindt Pedersen is a frequent commentator and expert source in Danish media on international affairs. From August 1st 2026 Charlotte Flindt Pedersen will start a new position as the Director of CISU – Denmark’s largest memberbased organisation for organisations engaged in global civil society work.

Jakob Sørensen is the Director of Dansk Kulturliv. Jakob Sørensen has been part of Dansk Kulturliv since early 2024 and served as Head of Secretariat from the beginning of 2025 before becoming Director. Prior to joining the organisation, he worked as a consultant in the advisory sector and as Project Director at the Danish think tank Mandag Morgen. Before that, he served as Secretary General and Deputy Secretary General of the Danish Youth Council (DUF).

Ulrik Haagerup is the founder and CEO of Constructive Institute. From 2007 to 2017, he was Executive Director of News at the Danish Broadcasting Corporation (DR), Denmark’s public service broadcaster. Prior to that, he was Editor-in-Chief at NORDJYSKE Medier from 2002 to 2007, and at the national daily Jyllands-Posten from 1994 to 2002, where he had earlier worked as an investigative reporter from 1986 to 1991. He has also served as a member of the Danish Government’s Media Responsibility Committee.

Anni Syrjäläinen is a Senior Advisor and Deputy Director at the Nordic Culture Fund and works at the intersection of culture, policy, and international cooperation. Her work has focused on advancing Nordic cultural collaboration globally and exploring new approaches to cross-border cultural funding.

Bjarne Corydon is Director General of the Danish Broadcasting Corporation (DR) and former CEO and Editor-in-Chief of the Danish newspaper Børsen. He previously served as Denmark’s Minister of Finance from 2011 to 2015 and was a member of the Danish Parliament for the Social Democrats.

Emile Hertling Péronard is an award-winning and Oscar-nominated Greenlandic film producer operating out of Nuuk and Copenhagen. As an advocate, Péronard works to advance the Greenlandic film industry and empower marginalised voices in cinema. With Ánorâk Film, his films have been distributed worldwide with premieres at leading festivals like Venice, Sundance, Berlinale and Cannes.

Flemming Møller Mortensen has been a member of the Danish Parliament for the Social Democratic Party since 2007. He previously served as Minister for Development Cooperation and Nordic Cooperation from 2020 to 2022. Flemming Møller Mortensen is Deputy Chair of Danish Cultural Institute.

Helle Faber is a Danish producer and CEO for the production company, Made in Copenhagen. She has produced more than 30 documentaries and is producer of the Academy Award-winning documentary Mr. Nobody Against Putin.

Ingrid Tinmannsvik is a co-founder and Editor in Chief of Norway’s new media outlet Demo, a sister media of Zetland. Tinmannsvik is one of the Nordic region’s leading voices in constructive journalism, and was previously Constructive Editor at NRK, where she worked for 9 years.

Julija Reklaitė is the Director of the Lithuanian Culture Institute and Vice-President of EUNIC (EU National Institutes for Culture). Her work focuses on cultural diplomacy, international collaboration, and fostering cultural connections.

Karen Ellemann is the Secretary General of the Nordic Council of Ministers. She previously held ministerial positions in Denmark, including Minister for the Interior and Social Affairs, Minister for the Environment, and Minister for Gender Equality and Nordic Cooperation.

Kasper Holten is a Danish stage director and the CEO of the Royal Theater in Denmark. From 2011 to 2017, he was Opera Director of The Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, London. Before his time in London, from 2000 to 2011, he was Opera Director at the Royal Theater in Denmark.

Lars Ebert is the Secretary General of Culture Action Europe in Brussels, the main advocacy organisation for the cultural sector in Europe. Previously, he was co-director of H401 in Amsterdam and Deputy Director of the European League of Institutes of the Arts.

Naima Yasin is Head of Secretariat at SAGA and one half of the award-winning podcast “A Seat At The Table”. SAGA is a party-neutral youth movement with more than 2,700 members and 100 volunteers working to promote important youth issues independent of party politics.

Dr. Sine Plambech is an anthropologist, author, film director, and Senior Researcher at the Danish Institute for International Studies. She specializes in the areas of migration, smuggling, trafficking, and the sex industry. She works and film in migrant communities, border areas, red-light districts, and along migrant routes in West Africa, Asia, Europe’s southern border, and Denmark.
