Phronesis plays concert in the Danish Pavilion

Called “One of the most exciting jazz bands on the planet today” by British jazz magazine Jazzwise, the Danish/Swedish/British trio is one of the hottest names on the European jazz scene right now. Friday evening 5 August 2016 they are back in Rio de Janeiro to play concert in the Danish Pavilion at the iconic Ipanema beach.

In 2014 Phronesis visited Brazil as part of the music exchange project Dinamica Dinamarquesa, and in 2015 the Danish bassist Jasper Høiby started a new project with the Brazilian multi-instrumentalist Antonio Loureiro.

After their show in the Danish pavilion Phronesis continues on tour in the state of São Paulo, where they will give a performance at the ”Jazz na Fábrica” festival at SESC Pompéia August 12th.
