It includes a variety of cultural activities, among which is an exhibition of award-winning arts and crafts by Danish designers, including the Hetsch medal recipient, which is organized by Danish Cultural Institute in collaboration with Copenhagen School of Design and Technology (KEA) and the St. Petersburg Stieglitz State Academy of Art and Design. There will also be a screening of this year’s Danish film, Land of Mine, directed by Martin Zanvliet, at the Nordic Film Festival. Emphasis will be on the green mobility of Nordic lifestyles, including bicycle culture and recycling.

The opening ceremony takes place on the 22nd of September, where there is a unique opportunity to witness a jazz concert by musicians from Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland and Russia, among them the Danish drummer Stefan Pasborg. On Saturday the 24th of September the Nordic general consulates are having an open house, where there will be literature meetings, language training, presentations on educational opportunities and more.
